The DARKROCK EC2 is a black ATX mid-tower case designed for builders who want a clean, tempered-glass showcase with current connectivity. It fits ATX, Micro-ATX and ITX motherboards and comes with one pre-installed 120 mm rear fan. A front-panel USB 3.1 Type-C port, USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and audio jacks keep modern peripherals within easy reach. The magnetic dust filters on top and bottom simplify routine cleaning.

Airflow and Radiator Limits

The mesh front panel feeds up to eight 120 mm or two 140 mm fans, while the front mounting points accept a single radiator up to 360 mm long. Only the rear 120 mm location is pre-populated, so additional fans must be sourced separately. The top and bottom magnetic filters trap dust before it enters the chassis, but they also restrict the maximum radiator thickness that can be fitted in those positions. Builders planning a custom loop should verify component clearance against the 165 mm CPU cooler height limit.

Storage and Expansion Headroom

Two internal 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays provide room for a modest drive stack, while seven expansion slots accommodate full-length graphics cards up to 340 mm. Power supplies up to 200 mm deep fit without interfering with the front radiator area. The removable modular drive cage helps reorganise cables when the bay count is exceeded, but the case cannot house more than four drives internally. Users needing larger drive arrays or dual-GPU spacing will need a larger enclosure.
