The Dell OptiPlex 7090 Tower arrives with Windows 10 Pro installed and a USB keyboard and mouse in the box. An Intel Octa-Core i7-10700 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads reaches 4.80 GHz. 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 128 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB SSD provide fast boot and ample storage. A 16X DVD±RW drive and a USB 5 GHz wireless dongle complete the package.

Connectivity and expansion

Two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs drive dual monitors without an add-in card. Front I/O includes a universal audio jack, two USB 2.0 ports (one with PowerShare), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port.
