This new Dell PowerEdge T430 is a 5U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors. Each CPU runs at 2.0GHz with a 3.2GHz turbo and provides 14 cores. It targets organisations that need dense compute for virtualisation, databases or business applications in a standard rack footprint.

16-bay 2.5-inch storage with HBA330 controller

The chassis holds sixteen 2.5-inch hot-swap bays and ships with eight drive trays installed. Storage is managed by a Dell PERC HBA330 12Gb/s SAS/SATA controller. No drives are included, so buyers must supply their own SAS or SATA media.

Redundant 750W platinum power supplies

Two hot-swap 750-watt platinum-efficiency power supplies provide full redundancy. The server includes iDRAC 8 Express for remote management and dual integrated gigabit Ethernet ports. Front bezel and rack rails are not included.
