Enterprise 5U server for virtualization

The Dell PowerEdge T430 is a new 5U rack server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2660 v4 processors. Each CPU delivers 14 cores at 2.0 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across eight 16 GB modules. It targets organisations running VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox VE, database workloads or file and print services.

Dual-socket platform with 16 hot-swap bays

The LGA 2011 board supports a maximum of two processors and 384 GB of DDR4 across 12 DIMM slots. Sixteen 2.5-inch drive trays accept SAS and SATA drives behind a Dell PERC HBA330 12 Gb/s controller. Dual integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports handle network connectivity. Redundant hot-swap 750 W platinum power supplies maintain uptime. Front bezel and ready rails are not included.

iDRAC 8 Express remote management included

The embedded iDRAC 8 Express with Lifecycle Controller provides out-of-band monitoring, firmware updates and remote console access without extra licensing. Buyers who need advanced iDRAC features or a rack conversion kit must source those separately. The server arrives without installed drives, so storage capacity and RAID configuration are chosen at deployment.
