The eero 6+ AX3000 mesh system uses three identical units to blanket up to 4500 square feet with Wi-Fi 6. Each node can serve as the primary router or a satellite thanks to two auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports. The dual-band design delivers a combined 2976 Mb/s across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. It supports over 75 connected devices and adds a built-in Thread and Zigbee smart home hub.

160 MHz channel limits

The 5 GHz radio relies on a 160 MHz channel to reach 2402 Mb/s, but that width is only available on certain DFS channels subject to radar detection. If radar is present the radio may fall back to a narrower channel and reduce throughput. The 2.4 GHz band remains limited to 574 Mb/s and is shared with many legacy clients. Overall wireless speed cannot exceed the 3.0 Gbps AX3000 rating.

Verify that your internet plan supplies the gigabit speeds the system can distribute. Place nodes within wireless range of each other so TrueMesh can route traffic without drop-offs.
