Intel Z790 ATX motherboard for 12th to 14th Gen CPUs

This board fits the LGA 1700 socket and supports Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors from the 12th, 13th and 14th generations. It uses the Intel Z790 chipset and provides four DDR5 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 192 GB. Dual-channel architecture and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles are supported for memory tuning.

PCIe EZ-Latch and Q-Flash Plus simplify the build

The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot features a screwless quick-release latch so graphics cards can be swapped without tools. M.2 shields use a similar tool-less design for the four PCIe 4.0 x4 connectors. Q-Flash Plus lets you update the BIOS using a USB stick without installing a CPU or memory, which avoids a common first-boot stall.

192 GB DDR5 headroom and four M.2 sockets

Memory speeds up to 7600 MT/s are validated, giving ample headroom for high-frequency kits before stability becomes an issue. Four M.2 slots — one CPU-attached and three chipset-attached — accept 2280 and 22110 drives, so storage expansion scales with the platform. The 2.5 GbE LAN and Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 handle typical desktop traffic; sustained multi-gigabit transfers will saturate the 2.5 Gbps wired link.
