Dense 1U server for space-constrained workloads

The HP ProLiant DL360 Gen9 is a 1U rack server built for dense compute in limited rack space. It ships with dual Intel Xeon E5-2643v3 six-core processors running at 3.4GHz and 8GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory. Redundant hot-swap 500W power supplies provide resilience for continuous operation in data-centre environments. The chassis supports up to 24 DIMM slots for large memory expansion.

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays

Storage capacity is defined by eight small-form-factor bays that accept 2.5-inch SAS or SATA drives. The integrated Smart HBA H240ar controller delivers 12Gb/s SAS and 6Gb/s SATA connectivity with support for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. No drives are installed, so the buyer selects capacity and endurance to match the workload. The controller also manages the optional universal media bay or two additional SFF bays.

Memory expansion to 3TB and dual-processor scaling

The platform scales to 3TB of DDR4 across 24 slots when both processor sockets are populated. Each CPU provides 12 memory channels, so balanced population across both processors maximises bandwidth up to 2400MT/s. Matrox G200 graphics with 16MB video memory handles basic console output without consuming a PCIe slot. The server ships without an operating system, leaving the software stack entirely to the deployer.
