The Lian Li A3-mATX-WD Black is a Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX case built from steel with a walnut wood front panel. Mesh side and top panels provide open airflow paths. It targets builders who want a small footprint without sacrificing room for long graphics cards or large liquid-cooling radiators. No fans are included in the box.

Upgrade from tighter ITX enclosures

Moving up from a Mini-ITX-only case adds Micro-ATX motherboard support and the ability to mount a 360 mm radiator on the side or top. The jump is worth it when the build needs more PCIe slots or a thicker radiator stack than a pure ITX chassis can accept. Flexible PSU placement at the front or side eases cable routing in dense layouts.

Handles 415 mm GPUs and 360 mm radiators

A graphics card up to 415 mm fits alongside a CPU cooler up to 165 mm tall. Radiator mounts accept 360 mm, 280 mm or 240 mm units on the side, 360 mm or 240 mm on top, and 240 mm on the bottom. Ten 120 mm fan positions or two 140 mm side fans give ample headroom for airflow, while a single 3.5 inch and one 2.5 inch drive bay cover basic storage needs.
