DDR4 3200 Registered Interface Limits

The DDR4 3200 registered interface requires a motherboard that supports ECC RDIMM operation at PC4-25600 speed. Registered buffering adds one clock cycle of latency compared to unbuffered modules. Systems without registered-memory support cannot use this kit. Maximum capacity per channel depends on the platform memory controller.

Each 32GB module is organised as 2Rx8, presenting two ranks per DIMM to the memory controller. This rank structure affects how many modules the Tyan board can populate per channel.
