Registered 288-pin modules without heat spreaders

Registered signalling reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing the full eight-module population supported by compatible SuperServer 510P-WT, 510P-WTR and 110P-WTR platforms. The low-profile 288-pin form factor fits dense chassis where tall heat spreaders would block airflow or adjacent components.

Replaces smaller or non-ECC DDR4 kits

Upgrading from lower-capacity unbuffered or non-ECC memory adds both error correction and the density needed for virtualization, databases or large datasets. The jump is worth it when the server board supports registered ECC RDIMMs and the application benefits from 256GB across eight slots.
