OWC 32GB DDR3 ECC RDIMM kit

This 32GB kit contains four 8GB DDR3 1333 registered ECC modules built for Dell PowerEdge R310, R410 and R510 servers. Each stick runs at PC3-10600 CL9 with a 1.5V supply and uses a 2Rx4 organisation. The 240-pin RDIMM form factor fits the listed PowerEdge and C-series platforms only.

Replaces Dell A-series part numbers

The modules substitute for Dell part numbers such as A2984886, A3198153, A4188260 and SNPX3R5MC/8G among others. The upgrade is worthwhile when the server currently runs less than 32GB of registered ECC memory and the workload needs more capacity for virtualization or database buffers. It will not work in systems that require unbuffered DIMMs.
