Buying the combo removes the need to match a discrete X870E motherboard with a compatible Ryzen 9600X processor and ensures the BIOS recognises the chip out of the box. Limited by PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 electrical specs

The PhantomLink backplane connector routes the graphics card through a cable-free interface that still obeys PCIe 5.0 signalling limits and trace-length constraints. Four M.2 slots include two wired for PCIe 5.0 speeds, but actual throughput depends on the installed SSD controller and thermal throttling behaviour. Rear USB4 40G and front USB-C 20G ports share the same PHY budget, so simultaneous peak bandwidth on every port cannot be sustained.
