The Seagate Exos X18 ST16000NM004J is a 16TB enterprise hard drive with a SAS 12Gb/s interface and 7200 RPM spindle speed. It uses CMR recording technology and a helium-sealed design for high-capacity storage in servers, storage arrays and workstation computers. The 256MB cache supports sustained throughput for demanding workloads.

Sustained data transfer rate reaches up to 261 MB/s during continuous operation. The helium-sealed design reduces internal turbulence and helps maintain consistent performance under heavy load. Installation and common issues

The 3.5-inch form factor fits standard enterprise drive bays and backplanes using the SAS connector.
