The Seasonic Vertex PX-1200 delivers 1200 W of continuous power with 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency. It targets builders who need headroom for high-end graphics cards and multi-drive arrays. The unit is fully modular so only the cables required for the build remain in the case. It is not suited to compact chassis that cannot accept a 6.3" deep unit.

135 mm FDB fan with hybrid silent control

A 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan runs under Seasonic hybrid silent fan control, offering fanless, silent and cooling modes. At low loads the fan stays off for zero noise, then ramps up only when thermals demand it. Platinum-rated efficiency keeps waste heat low, reducing the thermal load on the rest of the system. Japanese 105 °C capacitors maintain stable output under sustained draw.

ATX 3.0 compliant with 12VHPWR connector

The power supply includes a native 16-pin 12VHPWR cable that meets the ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 specification for modern GPUs. Full modularity frees routing space behind the motherboard tray and improves airflow. Tight voltage regulation of ±3 % on the +12 V, 5 V and 3.3 V rails protects sensitive components. Builders needing more than 1200 W or a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.
