24-bay 4U rackmount server chassis

This 4U rackmount chassis fits standard motherboards up to 12 by 13 inches and holds twenty-four front-access 3.5-inch drives plus three internal 2.5-inch drives. The SGCC steel construction adds fingerprint resistance while the anti-EMI drive trays include light-guide columns that show each drive’s activity status. Slide rails make hot-swap insertion smooth for storage-heavy workloads.

Expander backplane with Mini-SAS connectors

A 6Gb/s expander backplane uses SFF-8087 Mini-SAS links and supports SGPIO signalling plus time-sharing spin-up to stagger drive start currents. Temperature-controlled fans adjust speed automatically and the two included 12038 ball-bearing fans are hot-swappable. Seven full-height vertical PCIe slots provide rear expansion for RAID controllers or network cards.

ATX or CRPS power with front-panel controls

The chassis accepts a standard ATX supply or a CRPS redundant unit in the 800 to 1500 watt range. Front-panel LEDs cover power, reset, drive activity, dual network, unit identification and overheat or fan-fail alerts. Depth of 650 millimetres requires a deep rack, and the expander topology limits each Mini-SAS port to 6Gb/s aggregate bandwidth.
