The Synology RS3626xs arrives fully assembled with twelve 12 TB enterprise drives, 3.2 TB of SSD cache and 8 GB of DDR4 ECC memory. A 6-core Intel Xeon D-1726 processor handles file, virtualization and surveillance workloads in a 2U chassis. Redundant power supplies protect uptime from a single supply failure.
Dual 10 GbE ports with link aggregation
Two integrated RJ-45 10 GbE LAN ports support link aggregation for higher throughput, load balancing and network failover. An out-of-band management port keeps remote administration separate from data traffic. Two PCIe Gen 4 x8 slots remain open for future 10 GbE, 25 GbE or Fibre Channel adapters.

The unit runs between 0 °C and 35 °C at up to 80 % relative humidity. Dual redundant power supplies share the load from a 100–240 VAC source, reducing thermal stress on any single module. Front-panel LEDs give immediate status for power, drive activity and 10 GbE links.
