The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage system built around a quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor running at 2.2 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and four 12 TB Synology Plus drives pre-installed for 48 TB of raw capacity. Four integrated 1 GbE ports and a factory-fitted 2-port 10GBASE-T adapter provide flexible high-speed connectivity for remote offices and edge deployments.
Upgrade from single-gigabit appliances when 10 GbE
This unit replaces slower single-gigabit NAS appliances where aggregated 1 GbE links or the included 10 GbE adapter can reduce backup windows and improve virtualisation storage latency.
