The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount NAS built for edge deployments, branch offices and remote business workloads. It ships fully assembled and tested with four 20 TB Synology Plus drives providing 80 TB of raw capacity. A quad-core AMD Ryzen V1500B processor at 2.2 GHz and 4 GB of DDR4 memory deliver the compute headroom for file serving, backup and virtualization tasks.
Four 1GbE ports plus PCIe Gen3 expansion
Four integrated RJ-45 ports support link aggregation, load balancing and automatic failover for resilient network connectivity. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow direct attachment of external storage or peripherals. A single PCIe Gen3 slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter or a combined M.2 and 10GbE card. One RX426 expansion unit can be added to double the bay count to eight.
80 TB configured with headroom to 192 TB
The included 4 x 20 TB drives present 80 TB of raw storage out of the box. Supported 24 TB drives in a fully expanded eight-bay configuration raise the raw ceiling to 192 TB. Compatible SSDs can be deployed for read-write caching to accelerate HDD arrays.
