The included cuff accommodates arm circumferences from 8.6 to 16.5 inches (22 to 42 cm). A loose-cuff indicator alerts you when the fit is too slack for an accurate reading. Optional cuffs are available separately for smaller arms (6.3 to 9.4 inches) and larger arms (12.2 to 17.7 inches). The monitor stores up to 60 readings per user and calculates a baseline average automatically.

The included wide cuff covers 8.6-16.5" (22-42 cm). Your UA-290A medium cuff covers 9.0-14.6" (23-37 cm), so the wide cuff fits a broader range and works for arms the medium cuff cannot.

How do I confirm the UA-767F is measuring correctly after I put in the 4 AA batteries?

Press the single start button. The large LCD should show systolic, diastolic and pulse values. If the cuff is loose, the monitor alerts you to reposition it before giving a reading.
