This 256GB kit contains eight 32GB DDR3L 1066 registered ECC modules built for servers and workstations that require quad-rank x4 memory. Each module uses a 240-pin DIMM form factor and operates at 1.35V low voltage. The kit is not compatible with desktop or laptop computers.
Registered DDR3L modules at 1.35V draw less power than standard 1.5V DDR3, reducing heat output inside dense server chassis. ECC error correction adds minimal latency while protecting data integrity under sustained workloads. Quad-rank density increases electrical load per channel, so adequate airflow across the DIMM slots remains important.
Adding eight matched modules fills all slots in many dual-socket configurations, maximising total capacity without mixing ranks. The 4Rx4 organisation lets each channel address more memory per DIMM, which can simplify population rules for certain platforms. All modules ship tested and ready for installation following the system manual guidelines.
