This A-Tech kit supplies 32GB of DDR3 ECC unbuffered memory across eight 4GB modules rated at 1866 MHz with CL13 latency. It is built for servers and workstations that require error-correcting unbuffered DIMMs and will not fit desktop or laptop platforms. The 240-pin dual-rank x8 modules operate at the standard 1.5V DDR3 voltage. Buyers needing registered or load-reduced memory cannot use this kit.
Each module runs at the standard 1.50V DDR3 voltage, keeping power draw predictable for dense eight-slot configurations. The unbuffered design adds no register overhead, so the memory controller sees only the DRAM load. Passive cooling in typical server airflow is sufficient; no active cooling on the modules themselves is required. Systems with restricted airflow should still verify case ventilation.
ECC circuitry corrects single-bit errors on the fly during continuous workloads such as virtualization, databases or scientific computing. Dual-rank organisation lets the memory controller interleave accesses across ranks, sustaining bandwidth over long periods. The CL13 timing at 1866 MHz remains stable under load because the modules are validated at the rated 1.5V. Workloads exceeding 32GB total capacity will still swap to storage.
