512GB DDR5 4800 RDIMM Kit

This 512GB kit contains four 128GB DDR5 4800 registered DIMMs built for servers and workstations that require ECC registered memory. It uses a 288-pin form factor and operates at the standard 1.10V DDR5 voltage. The modules are not compatible with desktop or laptop computers.

DDR5 4800 Registered ECC Limits

DDR5 4800 registered ECC memory only works in platforms with a DDR5 RDIMM memory controller and BIOS support for quad-rank 3DS modules. The registered buffer adds one cycle of latency compared to unbuffered DIMMs, and the 4800 MT/s data rate is the baseline JEDEC speed for DDR5. Mixing with other speeds or ranks may prevent the system from posting.

Quad-Rank 3DS Density

Each 128GB module uses a 2S2Rx4 (4Rx4) 3DS/TSV architecture, presenting four logical ranks per DIMM to the memory controller. This high rank count maximises capacity per slot but requires a platform qualified for 3DS quad-rank RDIMMs. Systems limited to dual-rank or single-rank modules cannot use this kit.
