This 512 GB kit contains eight 64 GB registered DIMMs built for DDR4 servers and workstations that require ECC memory. It is not compatible with standard desktop or laptop platforms.

DDR4 2933 MT/s registered interface limits

The modules run at 2933 MT/s with CL21 latency at the standard 1.2 V DDR4 voltage. Registered buffering and ECC add latency overhead that desktop memory controllers do not expect, so the kit will only function in platforms validated for DDR4 RDIMM populations.
