This pack contains five Aruba Instant On AP25 access points built for small and medium businesses that need high-density wireless coverage. Each unit is a dual-radio 802.11ax device with four spatial streams designed for environments with many concurrent clients. The cloud-managed platform allows configuration through a mobile app or web portal without an on-premise controller. Buyers who require a hardware controller or standalone autonomous operation should consider other product lines.

Aggregate 5.3 Gbps peak rate with 2.5 Gbps uplink

The radios deliver up to 4.8 Gbps on the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band, giving an aggregate peak data rate of 5.3 Gbps. A 2.5 Gbps Ethernet uplink and 160 MHz channel bandwidth provide wired backhaul headroom for the wireless throughput. MU-MIMO, OFDMA and Target Wake Time improve efficiency when dozens of devices are active. Sites that need multi-gigabit uplinks beyond 2.5 Gbps or dedicated scanning radios will find the capacity limit here.

Cloud-managed with WPA2/WPA3 and Enhanced Open

Management runs entirely through the Aruba Instant On cloud portal or mobile app, enabling remote firmware updates, RF optimisation and client analytics. Security includes WPA2/WPA3 for employee networks and Enhanced Open for per-user guest access. The units are 100 percent backward compatible with legacy 802.11a/b/g/n/ac clients. Organisations that require on-premise management, VLAN pooling per SSID, or PoE-powered operation without a separate injector are not served by this model.
