This socket lets you program and test any SOIC or SOP Narrow 8 pin chip in a 150mil wide body. The device clamps the chip against gold fingers for a secure electrical connection. It is mounted on a pair of PCBs that present a 16 pin DIP footprint with .6 inch spacing for breadboard use.

Breadboard compatibility check
