Motherboard and Storage Layout

The Gigabyte Z890 UD board provides four DDR5 slots (128GB populated, 192GB maximum), four M.2 connectors and four SATA 6Gb/s ports with RAID support. Two 4TB Samsung 990 PRO PCIe 4.0x4 drives deliver the 8TB NVMe pool, while a 10TB SATA HDD adds bulk capacity. Rear I/O includes USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, four USB 3.2 Gen 1, four USB 2.0, Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6E AX211.

Liquid Cooling and 850W Bronze PSU

A 360mm quiet-edition AIO cools the CPU, aided by three front 120mm fans, one PSU-shroud 120mm fan and a rear 120mm fan inside the sound-dampened Antec P10 FLUX chassis. The Thermaltake Smart 850W 80 PLUS Bronze unit uses a 140mm low-noise fan and Japanese main capacitors with over-voltage, under-voltage, over-power and short-circuit protection.
