Workstation for SolidWorks modelling

This Adamant Custom desktop is built for engineers running SolidWorks, CAM and CAE workloads. A 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor and an NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell GPU with 32 GB of video memory drive certified viewport performance. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 system memory and a 2 TB NVMe boot drive keep large assemblies responsive. The 10 TB hard disk adds deep project storage.

Motherboard connectivity and power headroom

The X870 TUF motherboard supplies two USB4 ports at 40 Gbps, three USB 10 Gbps ports and four USB 5 Gbps ports at the rear panel. Four M.2 slots and two SATA 6 Gbps headers allow further storage expansion inside the case. A Thermaltake Smart 850 W 80 PLUS Bronze unit with a 140 mm fan delivers protected power to the CPU, GPU and all peripherals. Front-panel I/O includes two USB 5 Gbps ports and a combined audio jack.

Sustained-load thermal and acoustic behaviour

A 240 mm quiet-edition liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 9 9900X3D during long simulation runs while the case uses two 120 mm front intake fans and one 120 mm rear exhaust fan. The PSU fan operates at low noise levels under continuous draw. Internal layout provides two 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive bays for additional archival drives without restricting airflow. Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5 Gb Ethernet maintain stable network links during extended render jobs.
