Designed for IT continuity

This APC Smart-UPS is an on-line tower unit rated at 3000 VA with 120 V input and output. It supplies pure sine wave power to protect critical electronics during outages. The unit targets network administrators who need extended runtime for servers and infrastructure.

SmartSlot adds remote control

A SmartSlot accepts an optional Network Management Card for integration with EcoStruxure IT or third-party platforms. PowerChute Network Shutdown can then gracefully power down physical servers, virtual machines and HCI clusters. Without the card the UPS still provides battery backup but lacks network-based management.

On-line topology and outlet limits

The double-conversion design isolates connected loads from utility fluctuations at all times. Nine battery-backed outlets include eight NEMA 5-20R and one NEMA L5-30R, so devices needing other plug types cannot be connected directly. Recharge takes three hours after a full discharge.
