The Apricorn Aegis Secure Key 3NX is a 64GB USB 3.0 flash drive with onboard keypad authentication and 256-bit AES XTS hardware encryption. It operates completely software-free and is validated to FIPS 140-2 Level 3. The drive is IP67 certified and works across Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, Chrome and embedded systems.

Upgrade from unprotected storage

This drive replaces standard USB flash drives that rely on software encryption or no encryption at all. The jump is worth it when data must remain encrypted at rest and in transit without installing drivers or management tools. It also supersedes earlier Secure Key models by running up to 25 percent cooler and adding a second read-only mode.

Keypad setup and epoxy sealing

Configuration is done entirely on the built-in 7-16 digit keypad before the drive is plugged in, so no host software is required. The internal components are covered in hardened epoxy to resist physical tampering, and firmware is locked down against Bad USB attacks. The main friction point is remembering the PIN; there is no recovery mechanism if it is lost.
