The Astron SS-18 is a general-purpose switching power supply rated at 13.8 VDC with 15 amps continuous duty and 18 amps ICS at a 33 percent duty cycle. Its low-profile, lightweight design suits portable and desktop setups. Short-circuit, over-voltage and automatic over-temperature protection are built in. A DC power cord is included.

100-240 VAC input with 50/60 Hz operation

The unit accepts a wide input range of 100 to 240 VAC at 50 or 60 Hz, so it works on most mains supplies worldwide without manual switching. Continuous output is limited to 15 amps; the 18 amp ICS rating only applies at a 33 percent duty cycle. Exceeding these limits will trigger the protection circuits.
