Assembly, customisation and common pitfalls

A top-down design lets you remove every layer from the top cover to the PCB without flipping the board, and the package includes a Torx wrench, keycap and switch puller, three translucent ROG keycaps and a Ctrl keycap. South-facing PCB sockets improve compatibility with third-party keycaps, though the stock ABS doubleshot caps are non-translucent so shine-through legends are not possible.
