ProArt Z890 for Intel Core Ultra Series 2

This ATX motherboard uses the Intel Z890 chipset and an LGA 1851 socket to support Intel Core Ultra processors from the Series 2 lineup. It is built for creators and professionals who need high core counts and AI-accelerated workloads. The 16+2+1+2 teamed power stage design delivers stable current for sustained multi-threaded performance.

PCIe 5.0 and Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth limits

The board provides two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots from the CPU, running at x16 or x8/x8, and one chipset PCIe 4.0 x16 slot at x4. Five M.2 sockets include one PCIe 5.0 x4 and four PCIe 4.0 x4. Dual Thunderbolt 5 Type-C ports add 80 Gbps external bandwidth, while 10 Gb and 2.5 Gb Ethernet plus WiFi 7 handle network traffic.

192 GB DDR5 ceiling decides fit

Four DDR5 DIMM slots support a maximum of 192 GB in dual-channel mode with XMP 3.0 profiles up to 8600 MT/s. Non-ECC unbuffered and CUDIMM modules are supported. If the workload requires 256 GB or registered ECC memory, this board will not meet the requirement.
