Intel LGA 1700 motherboard for 14th

The ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO BTF uses the Intel Z790 chipset and an LGA 1700 socket to support Intel Core 14th and 13th Gen processors alongside 12th Gen, Pentium Gold and Celeron models. It enables Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and Turbo Boost Max Technology 3.0 where the CPU allows. Builders who need a different socket or chipset cannot use this board.

Four DIMM slots accept non-ECC unbuffered DDR5 up to 192 GB total capacity with dual-channel architecture. Speeds range from 4800 through 8000 MT/s when overclocked, plus XMP, AEMP II and DIMM Flex profiles. Users who require ECC memory or more than four slots must choose another platform.

ATX form factor with PCIe 5.0 x16 slot
