This ASUS ROG STRIX graphics card uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU with 3072 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface. It connects via PCI Express 3.0 and supports up to four displays through two HDMI 2.0b ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one USB Type-C port. Sustained load behaviour with 250W TDP

The card draws up to 250W under load and requires a 650W power supply with two 8-pin connectors. In Gaming mode the core runs at 1650 MHz and boosts to 1830 MHz, while OC mode raises those figures to 1680 MHz and 1860 MHz respectively. Memory operates at an effective 15500 MHz. A triple-fan cooler handles the thermal output during extended sessions.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The ROG STRIX cooler uses three fans to move heat away from the GPU during long rendering or gaming sessions.
