The ASUS RT-AX1800S is a dual-band wireless router built on the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard. It delivers a total networking speed of approximately 1800Mbps, split between 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The design targets households with many simultaneous connections, using MU-MIMO and OFDMA to serve multiple devices at once. It is not suited for buyers who require multi-gigabit WAN or LAN ports beyond 1 Gbps.
