The ASUS VivoBook 16 is a new Windows 11 Pro laptop built around the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with 8 cores and 16 threads. Its integrated XDNA NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS for local Copilot+ tasks. The 16.0-inch WUXGA IPS panel runs at 1920 x 1200 and 60 Hz with 300 nits brightness. It ships with 24GB DDR5-5600 memory and a 512GB PCIe Gen 4x4 NVMe M.2 SSD.

Sustained performance

The 8-core Zen 5 and Zen 5c architecture scales from a 2.0 GHz base to a 5.0 GHz boost under load. The Radeon 860M integrated graphics share system memory for compute and media workloads. A 42 Wh three-cell battery is rated for up to 10 hours of mixed use. Active cooling manages thermals during extended AI or multithreaded sessions without throttling the NPU pipeline.

Deployment notes

The chassis measures 14.06 x 9.87 x 0.78 inches and weighs 4.14 lbs, fitting standard 16-inch sleeves. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and two Type-C ports plus HDMI 2.1 cover most peripherals without dongles. The M.2 slot supports NVMe upgrades but the 24GB RAM is soldered, so capacity cannot be increased later. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless connectivity.
