BTI 12 V UPS Battery Pack
This sealed lead-acid battery pack delivers a 12 V DC output for compatible APC Back-UPS Pro units. It is designed for server administrators who need a direct replacement to restore runtime after the original cells have aged. The pack arrives new and carries an 18-month limited warranty.
Capacity and Runtime Fit
The unit supplies the voltage required by the supported UPS models, keeping connected servers running during short utility interruptions. Runtime length depends entirely on the load placed on the UPS and the condition of the host unit itself. When the connected equipment exceeds the UPS rating, the pack will deplete rapidly and cannot extend operation beyond its rated capacity.
Lead-Acid Chemistry Limits
Sealed lead-acid chemistry provides reliable standby power but loses capacity gradually with each discharge cycle and with age. The pack cannot be fast-charged like lithium alternatives and must remain on float charge when not in use. Deep discharges shorten overall service life, so the UPS should be configured to shut down before the battery reaches a critically low state.
