What does the USB-C port with PD technology support on this mini PC?
The USB-C port handles display output, data transfer and charging through a single connection. If the monitor cannot supply power, a separate charger is needed. The included power supply is a 12V/2A DC adapter, not a PD unit.
What mounting options and physical space does the barebone require?
The chassis measures 5.2 x 3.2 x 0.7 inch and includes a VESA mount bracket for attaching to the back of a monitor. It also supports an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD (PCIe 3.0 x2, up to 5 TB) and a micro SD card slot.
How is the storage upgraded and what BIOS step is often missed?
Open the case, insert an M.2 2280 NVMe drive into the M-key PCIe 3.0 x2 slot — SATA SSDs will not work. In the unlocked BIOS, enable the M.2 slot and set the new drive as the boot device; skipping this step leaves the system unbootable.
