This 1.75mm PLA filament comes on a 1kg spool and is suited to hobbyists, educators and makers who want a reliable gold colour for decorative or functional parts. The material prints without a heated enclosure and works with most common FDM printers that accept 1.75mm stock.

Dimensional Tolerance and Spool Fit

Diameter is held to ±0.02mm, which keeps extrusion consistent and reduces the chance of nozzle clogging. The spool measures 8.00 inches in diameter, 2.50 inches wide with a 2.20 inch hub hole, so it fits the majority of printer spool holders but may not suit compact printers with very small spool bays.

Installation Notes and Common Issues

Mount the spool on the holder, feed the filament into the extruder and set the nozzle between 200 and 230°C with the bed at 50 to 65°C. Printing at 50 to 100mm/s gives good results. Tangles are rare because of the neat winding, but if the filament crosses over itself on the spool it can snag — keep the tail secured when not printing.
