Professional 4K60 HDBaseT 3.0 Extender

The BG-EXH-4KC7 transmits 4K60Hz 4:4:4 HDR video, USB-C and HDMI signals up to 100 metres over CAT6A or CAT7 cable. It supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG formats for professional AV installations. Dual inputs on the transmitter allow automatic or manual switching between sources.

Thermals and Power in Operation

The metal enclosure dissipates heat without active cooling for silent performance in conference rooms or classrooms. Power draw is 173W when the transmitter supplies 100W USB-C charging and Power over Cable to the receiver, or 73W without charging. A single 24V 7.5A supply powers both units bidirectionally over the link cable.

Integration and Build Flexibility

Transmitter and receiver each measure 208mm by 122mm by 22mm and include mounting ears for surface or rack installation. Analog audio de-embedding on both ends connects to external amplifiers via Phoenix connectors. RS-232 pass-through, CEC control and API support enable automation system integration, while 1G Ethernet pass-through extends network connectivity to the display location.
