The BG-ADAMO-JRDA30X-B is a 2 megapixel PTZ network camera with a 1/2.8 inch SONY CMOS sensor and 30× optical zoom. It delivers 1080p resolution at frame rates up to 60 fps over HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and IP streaming. Integrated red and green tally lights provide on-air status for live production crews. Power over Ethernet simplifies installation by carrying data, power and control over a single category cable.

Upgrade from fixed wide-angle cameras

This model replaces static wide-angle cameras when a production needs variable framing from a single position. The 30× zoom narrows the horizontal field of view from 58.1° at wide to 2.14° at telephoto, while vertical coverage spans 33.8° to 1.2°. The jump is worth it for houses of worship, conference halls or broadcast studios that must switch between wide establishing shots and tight speaker close-ups without moving the camera. It is not suited for installations that require a fixed wide view wider than 58.1° or zoom beyond 30×.

Sustained streaming with PoE and local recording

Under continuous operation the camera draws power through PoE or the included DC 12 V 1.5 A supply, avoiding the voltage drop that can affect USB-powered devices on long runs. The microSD slot accepts cards up to 1 TB for local recording redundancy if the network stream is interrupted. Dual 3.5 mm line inputs embed audio directly into the video feed. ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS and GB/T 28181 protocols keep the stream stable over managed networks, while VISCA over IP and serial RS-232/RS-422 provide reliable remote control during extended sessions.
