What it is

This is a 2 GB DDR2 SODIMM module built to the PC2 5300 standard at 667 MHz. It is intended for laptops or small-form-factor systems that accept 200-pin unbuffered memory running at 1.8 V.

Deciding spec

The module uses a 2Rx8 organisation with CL5 5-5-5 timings and no ECC. If the target machine requires registered or ECC memory, or a different rank configuration, this stick will not work.

Install notes

Insert the module into a free 200-pin SODIMM slot at a slight angle, then press down until the side clips lock. Mixing with existing memory is possible, but the whole system will run at the speed of the slowest installed module.
