The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3 is a 120 mm tower cooler built around four nickel-plated copper heat pipes and a rifle-bearing PWM fan. It targets builders who want reliable thermal headroom for mainstream desktop CPUs without the bulk of a dual-tower design. ARGB lighting is handled by an auto-detection circuit that falls back to a default spectrum when no 3-pin header is connected. The silver finish keeps the aesthetic neutral for most build themes.

Broad socket support frees case choice

Redesigned mounting brackets cover AMD AM4, AM5 and Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700 and 1851 sockets in a single kit. The 152 mm overall height fits a wide range of mid-tower and compact chassis, leaving clearance for tall memory modules and standard ATX power supplies. A single 4-pin PWM header drives the fan, so no extra fan controller or splitter is required. The vertical fan orientation directs airflow straight through the fin stack toward the rear exhaust.

Power draw is limited to the 4-pin header rating, keeping load on the motherboard VRM minimal. Thermal capacity scales with the four heat pipes, handling sustained workloads without fan ramp to maximum speed.
