The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB is a 240 mm all-in-one liquid cooler built for mainstream desktop processors. It fits Intel sockets from LGA 775 through LGA 1700 and AMD sockets from AM2 through AM4. The unit targets builders who want RGB lighting and closed-loop cooling without custom plumbing. It includes dual 120 mm fans and a low-profile dual-chamber pump.

Upgrade from 120 mm or air cooling

Moving from a 120 mm radiator or a tower air cooler to this 240 mm unit adds surface area for heat rejection. The jump is worthwhile when CPU thermals throttle sustained workloads or when case airflow is limited. The dual-chamber pump design improves flow over earlier single-chamber models. Extra LGA 1700 brackets must be obtained separately from the manufacturer.

Build integration and included accessories

The radiator measures 277 x 119.6 x 27 mm and mounts in standard 240 mm fan slots. Two 120 mm PWM fans operate between 650 and 2000 RPM, delivering up to 66.7 CFM at 30 dBA. Addressable RGB lighting on the pump and fans is controlled via CM Plus software or the included wired controller. A 1-to-3 ARGB splitter and sleeved FEP tubing simplify cable routing and loop durability.
