This new Corn Electronics drive reads and writes Blu-ray, DVD and CD media through a single USB connection. It is aimed at users who need optical media support on modern computers that lack an internal bay. The slim enclosure makes it easy to carry alongside a laptop or to keep on a desktop.

Dual USB 3.0 and Type-C connectors with slim build

The drive ships with both a USB 3.0 plug and a USB Type-C plug, so it works with older ports and newer ones without an adapter. The supplier notes strong error correction, impact resistance, low noise and low power consumption from the Type-C interface. A decorative light on the top changes colour while the drive is operating.

Maximum 6× Blu-ray read speed and no 4K UHD playback
