Kit configuration

This kit contains two eight-gigabyte DDR4 modules for a total of sixteen gigabytes. The 288-pin DIMMs are unbuffered and run at 1.35 volts, matching the standard DDR4 voltage for desktop platforms.

XMP 2.0 profile

Intel XMP 2.0 stores the rated 3000 MT/s speed and CL15 timings of 15-17-17-35 in the SPD. Enabling the profile in BIOS applies the frequency and latency automatically without manual entry.

DDR4 interface limits

DDR4 synchronises electrical and clock signals for efficient data transfer at the rated PC4 24000 bandwidth. The standard tops out below newer memory generations, so peak throughput is capped by the DDR4 specification itself.
