Single 120mm RGB case fan

The Corsair iCUE QL120 RGB White is a 120mm PWM fan with hydraulic bearing and 34 individually addressable RGB LEDs across four lighting zones. It connects via a standard 4-pin header and fits any case designed for 120mm by 25mm fans. The white frame and semi-transparent blades are built to reflect and diffuse light for a brighter visual effect. It is sold as a single unit with four mounting screws included.

Sustained airflow and noise behaviour

At full speed the fan reaches 1500 RPM and moves 41.8 CFM of air while producing 26 dBA of noise. The hydraulic bearing and anti-vibration rubber dampers are designed to keep acoustic output steady during continuous operation. PWM control allows the speed to drop to 525 RPM when cooling demand falls, reducing both airflow and sound proportionally. The semi-transparent blade design maintains light visibility across the entire speed range.

Upgrade path and when it matters

This fan replaces any standard 120mm case fan that lacks addressable RGB lighting or uses a fixed-colour LED ring. The jump is worthwhile when you want synchronised iCUE lighting effects across intake and exhaust positions without adding a second fan controller. Builders who need higher static pressure for dense radiators or who prefer a non-RGB aesthetic will not benefit from the lighting hardware and should consider simpler alternatives.
