Build foundation

The Corsair FRAME 5000D RS is a white mid-tower case built from steel and tempered glass. It accepts ATX, E-ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards and provides eight expansion slots for full-size add-in cards. The FRAME Modular Case System lets builders rearrange the internal layout, while the InfiniRail mounting system simplifies fan installation. Reverse-connection motherboard support is included for cleaner cable routing.

Thermal management

Dust filters cover the front, bottom, right side and left side to reduce particulate ingress. Radiator mounts are available at the front for 240, 280 or 360 mm units, at the rear for 120 or 140 mm units, and at the top for 240, 280, 360 or 420 mm units. A 3D Y-Pattern airflow front panel directs cool air toward components. Maximum clearances are 450 mm for graphics cards, 175 mm for CPU coolers and 250 mm for power supplies.

Sustained-load behaviour

The spacious interior and extensive radiator support allow large liquid-cooling loops to dissipate heat from high-wattage components over long sessions. Unrestricted front intake and top exhaust paths maintain steady airflow when fans run at constant speeds. Ample GPU and CPU cooler clearances prevent physical interference during thermal expansion. Modular layout options let builders optimise airflow paths for continuous heavy workloads.
