The CyberPower CP1200AVR is a 1200VA/720W battery backup designed for office workstations, home entertainment systems and network devices. It provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets with automatic voltage regulation to correct brownouts and overvoltages without using battery power. Data line protection covers RJ11/45 and RG-6 coaxial connections. Management is handled through USB and serial ports with PowerPanel software.

Automatic voltage regulation and surge suppression

The unit maintains output at 120V ±5% across an input range of 57 to 63 Hz while absorbing surges up to 1080 joules. A built-in circuit breaker protects the 10 amp input connection. Two user-replaceable sealed lead-acid batteries recharge in 8 hours and are rated for a 6-year service life. Audible alarms signal on-battery, low-battery and overload conditions during normal operation.

At half load the UPS delivers 12 minutes of runtime, falling to 3 minutes at the full 720 watt rating. The simulated sine wave output supports compatible power supplies during these intervals.
