Behaviour under sustained load

At half load the internal sealed lead-acid batteries provide roughly 10 minutes of runtime, dropping to about 2.5 minutes at full 1000W load. Automatic Voltage Regulation corrects brownouts and over-voltages between 88 and 144Vac without using battery capacity, preserving reserve time for genuine blackouts. Recharge to full capacity takes eight hours after a discharge event.

Installation and common issues

The mini-tower chassis sits on a desk or floor with a 5-foot NEMA 5-15P cord; the LCD panel tilts for readable status when the unit is placed low. USB and serial ports connect to PowerPanel Business Edition for automated shutdown scripts. Battery replacement requires the correct kit — RB1290X2 or RB1280X2B depending on the serial-number prefix — so verify the label before ordering spares.
